Watercolor Wall Hanging
I made this a couple of years ago, the border is yellow, doesn't show up really good. Then the smaller inner border is purple and the outside is purple. I really enjoyed making it. It's from this book:
I never was interested in the watercolor quilts, but I really like the picket fence with this one and the way the flowers look like they are climbing up the vine. I think I need to put a picture of my eye spy quilt in my blog. I have a picture I took for my blog but my camera is a compact flash and there is no slot for it on my laptop - I was so disappointed. Kasarah had my flash drive or I would have done it that way - maybe tomorrow.
I have been quilting since 2000. I have a son, Kasey, and 2 step-daughters, Annabell and Nicky. My husband was a stay-at-home dad, but just started a job this year as the Pre-Engineering instructor at our local High School Career and Technology Center. Kasey is almost 2 1/2 and is enjoying staying with both sets of Grandmas. My two favorite hobbies are quilting and scrapbooking. Other things I like to do are reading, being outside and riding our Zuma scooters in the summer.
